Leader & Teacher
Anna Clara Hofstadler
I have been a part of project WeTeach for almost 3 years and have taught two students! My favorite part of it is seeing my students gaining more confidence with every lesson. It is common to feel uncomfortable when speaking a new language, but after just a few lessons my students lost their nervousness which was very gratifying to see.
Leader & Teacher
Helena Prado
Leading We Teach and being a teacher for 3 years has been an insightful opportunity as I have seen my current FAZ student, Riquelme, and my previous Barra do Una student, Kadu, grow and develop into English speakers as they resilliently and constantly improve and become better speakers. On a larger scale, organzing the project has taught me a lot and I hope that it continuous to grow in the future.
Leader & Teacher

I have been a member of WeTeach for 2 years and have enjoyed the experience of teaching the English language to WeTeach’s eager students. WeTeach has given me and many others the opportunity to give back to SP by allowing us to teach others English; a language that opens doors and aids in providing others with more opportunities for their future!

Sophia was a leader for We Teach for 2 years, during which time she helped foster the project's connection to FAZ and increased its visibility through international day and other visits. We Teach certainly grew under her leadership and continues to expand today.

I have been part of the project for 3 years. I joined the project in 2020, with my first student, and it was a pleasure to teach her. As we had more lessons, I noticed my teaching skills developed a lot. With increasing globalization, I understand the importance of learning new languages. I have had a really positive experience with the project and hope to share the opportunity of learning the english language with my students.

Projeto We Teach has always meant more to me than just an extracurricular and involvement in the school community. Ever since I was little I've always dreamt of living abroad, and this project is an opportunity to offer the tools for others who never learned English to also achieve this shared dream. The 3 years I have been teaching have been extremely fulfilling and it has been an honor being a part of WeTeach.

Our Teachers.
Henrique Sampaio
I have been part of project We Teach since 2020, and since then I have had the pleasure of teaching three students. I enjoy seeing students put in dedication to develop and improve their skills, but most importantly my favorite part of teaching is getting to know my student better and creating an engaging/ interactive environment for learning where students feel comfortable to speak freely and ask questions. Getting feedback from students and ensuring that I teach at a pace that allows them to gain thorough understanding is also something I value a lot!
Raphael Lafeldt
I joined the We Teach project in 2021. For the past two years, I've been dedicated to helping my student grow and improve their English skills. During my lessons, I focus on building a strong connection with my student to make the lessons more fun and engaging. This is key for students to show up and approach the lesson with a learning mindset. I really enjoy seeing my student's progress and take pride in adjusting my teaching style to fit their needs. Being a part of my student's journey is so rewarding, and I'm always looking for ways to make my teaching even better to help them succeed in learning English.
Alejandra Melcon
I am in L6 and have been a part of this project since Form 4. I have greatly enjoyed giving lessons and being able to create wonderful and impactful relashionships with other children. This project is amazing not only because it embraces the power of the english language and seeks to decrease disparities in education across Sao Paulo, but also offers the opportunity of both teachers and students to meet new people and learn new things!
